- This is an online version of the book by Braun & Schneider, Historic Costume in Pictures. It has pictures from the book in thumbnails and you can enlarge them for a better view.
- La Couturière Parisienne Costume and Fashion Site: Miscellany
- This costuming website (based in Germany) includes periods from Medieval to Edwardian. The useful and impressive thing about it is the number of period paintings it has collected together to use for reference. Also has links. And a section on period music.

- Cariadoc's Miscellany
- Duke Cariadoc and his Lady, Mistress Elizabeth, have written these articles on subjects ranging from Period Food to Armour to various editorials, some "in persona" some not. Great site to get lost in for an afternoon!
- SCA Brew Historical Brewing Library
- A complete reference guide for the period brewer. Lots of great links! For more information, head to the main SCA Brew Historic Brewing Page.

- Sinopia On-Line
- Sinopia features fine artists pigments, gold and other period art supplies. Expensive, but very high quality stuff.
- Master John the Artificer
- Master John the Artificer has a variety of hard to find items (oak galls, copperas, Cennini weight gold leaf) and quality pigments both domestic and imported. Visit his site and prepare to be amazed.
- Cyber-scriptorium
- This site (Aethelmarc's Scribal page) gives a great overview of SCA scrolls (what is a scroll, how are they made, etc) plus lots of cool links to online manuscript sources, texts, and instructions on how to get on the inter-kingdom scribe's list. Crawl around in this site for a while and you won't be sorry.
- Early manuscripts at Oxford University
- An on-going scribal project to put detailed scans of manuscripts that are in the possession of the bodelian Library in Oxford , England, online for scholarly use. The downloads take a while, but they are worth the wait.
