Topics ranging from "How to Cook for Over Three Hundred People" to "Period Cooking Over a Camp Fire" to "Alternatives to Potatoes" are met with lively discussion and enthusiasm. Spinning, dying, weaving, knitting, nalbinding and many other fiber arts are studied and practiced. The Guild sponsors group projects to give members an opportunity to learn new techniques, and even organizes the occasional field trip to places of interest to fiber geeks (like a sheep farm).
