"Folkmoot"
from old English: folc, people + moot, a meeting or gathering
A general assembly of the people of a town, district, or shire in medieval England

For our Guests:

Join us at Folkmoot, held the first fighter practice of each month (see our calendar). Meet the people who make things happen in the SCA.

Tables are setup for you to talk to people from various offices and guilds: Hospitaller, Herald, Minister of Children, Textile Guild, Cooks' Guild, Fighting and Archery, just to list a few.

For more information, please contact our Hospitaller at hospitaller@caergalen.orgNOSPAM (and delete the NOSPAM spam buster).

For our Hosts:

This is more of a Faire atmosphere and not a meeting
• Everyone is invited. Bring guests and friends!
• Garb is encouraged (but not required)
• A donation snack table will be setup
• Fighter practice will occur as usual, but the fighters may be asked to demonstrate or explain things for visitors
• Short demonstrations of arts and sciences will be presented when available
