There are several resources at Caer Galenites' disposal to keep us informed of what is going on in the Barony. Even if you can't make it to our regular gatherings, you can still keep in touch with our newsletter or egroup.

Caer Galen Home

is the monthly newsletter published by the Barony of Caer Galen. It contains a calendar of the local SCA activities, reports from the officers, contact numbers and recently contributed articles. If you'd like to contribute an article, the Chronicler would love to hear from you.

Subscriptions are available from the Chronicler in two forms: an electronic file in PDF format sent via email, or a paper subscription mailed via US mail. Paper subscriptions are free, but donations to help cover the costs of paper and postage are greatly appreciated. If you wish either type of subscription please contact the Chronicler, checks payable to SCA-Caer Galen.

Submissions of reports, articles or art may be sent directly to the Chronicler. Email is preferred, although other media will probably be accepted. Please ask first.
Due: On or before the 20th of each month for the next month's issue.
Email: to the Chronicler at chronicler@caergalen.org.
Editing: Articles may be edited, shortened or not printed at the discretion of the Chronicler. If you wish the Chronicler to check with you before altering your submission, please let her know when you submit.

SCA-list Egroup:
The Barony of Caer Galen offers an email list for posting information on upcoming events, exchanging ideas, making announcements and conducting day to day Baronial business.

To Subscribe, send an email to
sca-list-request@caergalen.org. For the body of the message, include only the one word "subscribe", without quotation marks.

You will be sent back a confirmation request message that gives you a few different ways to confirm that you really want to subscribe. (This prevents someone else from being able to subscribe you to the list without your consent.) Simply choose whichever confirmation method is best for you, follow the instructions in the email, and you will be subscribed to the list. After sending the confirmation notice, you'll get a welcome message from the list server.

To Post to the list, send email to sca-list@caergalen.org. Note that if you are not subscribed, your posts will not be accepted to the list.
