We have two fighter practices - one is a general practice, and one is for archery.

For those of you who attend Caer Galen fighter practice and are interested in even more fighting, Caerthe's practice is on Thursday at 6:00 pm at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, and Unser Hafen's is on Sundays from 2 pm to 5pm at the CSU Field House.

Main General Practice

We are in the field south east of the skatepark and directly west of the adventure play park. You can park your car right at the field to unload your gear and then park in the lot.

In Longmont:

Heading east on Hwy 119 from Longmont, cross E. County Line Road. Turn into the second right turn for the park. (You will be right next to a car dealer.) Take the first right into a parking lot and continue to follow the road to the right as it curves around the soccer fields. When the road ends, that is the parking lot for the field.

From I-25:

From I-25, take Hwy 119 (exit 240) West. The park is a left hand turn right after the car dealer. Take the first right into a parking lot and continue to follow the road to the right as it curves around the soccer fields. When the road ends, that is the parking lot for the field.

Fall/Winter Site: Boulder County Fairgrounds
Nelson and Hover, Longmont, CO

We will be in Barn A, located southwest of the Midway parking lot. We should have access to the Midway parking lot for parking. The map below is from the Boulder County website (Large PDF Map).
Note: on their map South is at the top of the page.

You may drive up the road that runs in front of Barn A between the Outdoor Arena and the Midway parking lot. We are allowed to briefly park in front of Barn A in order to drop off equipment. Do not leave your car in that area, since it is a fire lane.

From Boulder:

Take Diagonal (119) east to Longmont. As you enter Longmont, turn left onto Hover. Follow Hover to Nelson and turn right (just before the Target). Turn left into the fairgrounds. Follow the paved road to the Midway parking lot north of the exhibit center.

From the South on 287:

Take 287 north through Longmont to Ken Pratt Blvd (119). Turn left onto Ken Pratt. Turn right immediately after crossing the train tracks. You are now on Nelson. Drive until you reach the fairgrounds and turn right into the entrance way.

From the East on 119:

Take 119 into Longmont and follow it as it becomes Ken Pratt Blvd. Take a right immediately after crossing the train tracks. You are now on Nelson. Drive until you reach the fairgrounds and turn right into the entrance way.

Archery Practice

The charge to shoot is $7 for the night. You can also get a punch card that gives you 10 visits for the price of 8. If you don't have your own equipment, bows can be rented at the range for $5. If anyone has an extra bow or arrows, please bring them along and share. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Since this is a practice at a public range - no garb, please

From Boulder/Longmont:

Take your best route to downtown Longmont. Go east on Ken Pratt/Hwy 119. Continue on 119 past Weld County Road approx. 1.5 miles to the stop light at CR 3 1/2. Turn right at the stop light into the Vista Commercial Center. Take the first left. It's the third building on the left.

From Broomfield/Louisville/Lafayette:

Take Hwy 287 to Longmont. Go east on Ken Pratt/Hwy 119. Continue on 119 past Weld County Road approx. 1.5 miles to the stop light at CR 3 1/2. Turn right at the stop light into the Vista Commercial Center. Take the first left. It's the third building on the left.
